1 well behaved dog is always welcome at The Friary. Please bear in mind that the secure courtyard has no grassy area so you will need to take your dog a very short distance to nearest pathway to open field just minutes away from the house.

Please bring your pet’s favourite dog basket with you and we kindly ask that dogs are only permitted downstairs.

					We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we could have asked for. The rooms, beds and bathroom were all comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed being within easy reach of the beach.That said, we found the location less appealing than expected. The noise and occasional smells from the nearby pub, combined with the traffic from the nearby A-road, made it difficult to fully relax and settle in.Overall, it was an enjoyable enough stay for a few nights, but given the price we paid, we felt it was somewhat expensive for what was offered and, overall, just an okay stay.  - 01/09/26

					We had a wonderful stay at the Friary. Heather, our co-host was really helpful and responded quickly.  It was the perfect holiday house - everything you could possibly need. All the information needed to make the stay a success was provided in a file. On arrival, after a long journey we were provided with tea, biscuits and milk. These were much appreciated! Thank you. 					We absolutely loved the house and felt so welcomed and at home as soon as we arrived. Lots of local recommendations in the check-in folder and the house was the perfect distance from the beach. We'd recommend driving if you have a pram, as it can be a bit tight at times. The house was spotless and well maintained. We were provided with a cot, baby gate and fans!
