STYLISH HOLIDAY COTTAGE NEAR TO THE BEACH

This comfortable and stylish holiday home sleeps up to 6 guests and is perfectly located in the village of Chideock, in popular West Dorset. The house is perfect for families or friends with three good-sized bedrooms (two twin rooms and one double) offering a relaxed base from which to explore the stunning Jurassic Coast and surrounding countryside. Take a look inside the Friary.

The Friary has been stylishly decorated with wooden flooring throughout and vibrant complimenting touches. The holiday home is in a great position away from the main road behind the Clock Inn so traffic noise is minimal.

Seatown Beach is within easy walking distance, as are two other excellent local pubs, making it easy to enjoy days by the sea and leisurely evenings out without getting in the car. The nearby South West Coast Path offers spectacular coastal walks right from the village, with breathtaking views along the cliffs.

					We had a great stay in this lovely, cosy home and really enjoyed our time there. We particularly loved the big kitchen, such a fabulous, sociable space. The courtyard is lovely for sitting out, and having all the French doors open really brings the inside and outside together.We didn’t notice any noise from the pub next door, and when we ate there, both food and service were excellent. There are two other fab pubs within walking distance, so there’s plenty of choice for eating and drinking.The house has two good-sized bathrooms, plenty of space, and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The only thing worth mentioning is that the middle twin bedroom is a little on the small side for two adults, but we managedVicky was great-friendly but professional, and quick to respond to my message. The location is great, a lovely 15-minute walk to the coast, where there are some beautiful walks.We would definitely recommend Vicky’s place and will certainly be visiting again  - 21/09/26

					We immediately felt at home. The holiday home was very comfortable and well equipped. Everywhere was very clean. The patio was a sun trap and very private.The walk to Seatown and beach was enjoyed and we visited quite a few places a short drive away. The dog enjoyed the dog area on Charmouth beach and in Weymouth. My daughter and I ate a tasty meal out at The Clock Inn . Service with a smile.  - 12/09/26

					We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we could have asked for. The rooms, beds and bathroom were all comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed being within easy reach of the beach.That said, we found the location less appealing than expected. The noise and occasional smells from the nearby pub, combined with the traffic from the nearby A-road, made it difficult to fully relax and settle in.Overall, it was an enjoyable enough stay for a few nights, but given the price we paid, we felt it was somewhat expensive for what was offered and, overall, just an okay stay.  - 01/09/26
